Universal Graphics Ltd is Ireland’s largest provider of end-to-end fleet branding, signage and architectural window films. We are seeking a new head of finance who can help us achieve our ambitious growth goals.
Working closely with the managing director and the director of sales and commercial, this is a key appointment to the management team and will play a central role steering and directing the business. The detailed role involves the following elements:
Strategic:
- Preparation and revision of annual forecasts and budgets
- Attend board meetings and present our performance to board and external finance partners
- Act as the finance expert for the business
- Drive the business’s cultural ethic
Operational:
Work closely with the sales and operational teams to drive efficiency, improve margins, and help the teams understand their financial performance.
- Take responsibility for managing and constantly improving the company’s daily, weekly, and ad-hoc operational reporting
- Provide timely and insightful analysis and recommendations into performance, margin, and efficiency at client, department, and branch level
- Prepare and communicate regular financial and performance updates in a meaningful manner
- Positively challenge current ways of working to improve performance
- Work with the operational teams to facilitate process improvement
- Oversee IT performance
- Support management generally with operational matters
Financial:
Oversee and manage all aspects of the company’s finances, including:
- Management reporting
- Cashflow management, including managing invoicing and driving debt collection
- Managing banking, including banking relationships
- Monthly and annual accounts preparation
- Taxation and legal compliance
- Management of finance and IT team
Qualifications:
Qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in industry.

- Ambitious and driven, a self-starter with strong communication skills
- Organised, calm, and comfortable with deadlines
- IT literate and proficient in MS Office. Knowledge of Sage Line 50 is an advantage but not essential.
- Experience of working in manufacturing/light industry is a distinct advantage, as is knowledge of manufacturing principles, including Lean or similar.
Location:
- Site based at HQ in Emyvale, Co Monaghan with some flexibility to incorporate remote working where possible.

- Salary Negotiable based on experience
- Bonus Structure to be agreed
